Followed by coffee and SALT (Sharing and Learning Together) – chat and discussions surrounding the bible)
St Andrew’s Julian prayer meeting is held on the third Monday of each month from 10 o’clock to 10:40.
It is a time of silent contemplative prayer.
The time begins with a short prayer and a brief reflection. This is followed by a time of silent contemplation and concludes with a prayer.
If you cannot attend please do join in the time of prayer in your home.
Coffee and biscuits are served after the time of prayer.
All are very welcome to join in this time of contemplative prayer.
This cafe is now open again and is in St. Andrew’s Church Hall. It is open the 3rd Sunday of every month from 4pm to 5 pm all are very welcome. Covid 19 Precautions are taken.
Burnham Bereavement Cafe (BBC) is:
A Safe and Welcoming space for anyone affected by loss or bereavement
A space to come and drink tea and eat cake with others who share the pain of loss and the challenge of adjusting to new circumstances
A space to share thoughts and feelings, to ask questions, or just to sit quietly amongst friends
A space to explore and contemplate together the great changes ahead; the journey through bereavement towards a “New Normal”
A space for people of any faith or none, “Come Along, you’ll be Welcome”
This friendly group meets at St. Andrew’s Church Hall every 3rd Sunday at 4pm.

Feeding body and soul. Open to all and dementia friendly
‘3rd Thursday’ is held in St Andrew’s church on the third Thursday of every month. Covid 19 precautions are in operation and all are warmly welcome.
3rd Thursday is a place to feed your body and soul:
A dementia-friendly space with a short, simple church service of familiar and well-loved hymns, bible readings and prayers to feed and nourish our souls.
The service is followed by tea and coffee, cake and sandwiches to feed our bodies.
3rd Thursday is open to all and is a space for people of any faith or none, come along and you”ll be welcome.
Hosted by volunteers who are “Dementia Friends”
This friendly group meets at St. Andrew’s Church, Burnham on Sea, TA8 1AW every third Thursday at 2:30 pm.
