Safeguarding
St. Andrew’s Church is committed to safeguarding all people. This includes children, young people, and those with additional needs.
We want you to feel safe in God’s church whether you come to worship, for a family event, or use the church building for community events.
One way we aim to create a safe environment is to ensure the right safeguarding checks and training recommended by the Diocese of Bath and Wells are in place for leaders and those involved in the running of the church. We also hope that we are open to hearing and noticing when something is wrong and taking the right action to help find the right support where it is wanted or needed.
You can view our safeguarding policies and details of our commitment to promoting a safer church at the bottom of this page where there is also a link to the Church of England safeguarding pages.
